So this is a book I read some years ago, but I think it’s a must-read for anyone who has anything to do with pricing.

How to Sell at Margins Higher Than Your Competitor: Winning Every Sale at Full Price, Rate, or Fee was written by Lawrence L. Steinmetz and William T. Brooks.

It’s true that many businesses are finding it tough to compete against competitors that price lower than they do. How businesses respond to this challenge will normally determine their success and survival. In this book, the authors argue that business is a game of margins, not volume, and competing on price might increase volume and send you broke at the same time.

I thought it was an excellent read.
